Hi,
Does anyone know of any girths that work on a forward girth groove pony as I'm in need of a girth that work.
Thanks for reading

I have the saddle company anatomical forward girth:

It's made a HUGE difference to my mare, saddle stays put now and this combined with a tweek from the saddle fitter has meant she hasn't bucked since it was changed.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I have a saddle company gp which is a nightmare for slipping forward, Saddle co fitter has tried allsorts to sort it out but with little luck. Now looking at a forward cut girth and a sheepskin pad.
Dizzle do you also have a saddle co saddle?

I've got a mare with a very forward girth groove and I bought a leather curved girth from Ebay but actually I found my Stubben string girth works best - I guess because its string, it sits where it needs to. I also had huge issues finding a saddle to fit her as everything shot forwards up her neck. The only thing that worked was one of those Acavallo sticky gel pads, its super sticky and I put it directly between the saddle and back, and then using the string girth.
