In a difficult position.. I don't want to ramble on so I'll just come out and ask.
Circumstances dictate that I have to find my dog a foster, or permanent home.
My house is near completion on sale, I have to move out on 4th Nov. New home will not be ready for same time, maybe be up to 4 weeks or more.
I have to move into a very small two bed house with my son (and join the lodger already there) some 20 miles away (and my daughter has to stay with sister until we move due to school). The house has no garden, is very small and it is not big enough even for a cat :/ Not fair on the dog, he is used to big garden and loves being outside.
I am trying to be practical and fair and really need a home for him as soon as possible.
He was to go with family but their circumstances have changed and they can't take him.

Milo is approx 3 and half (I got him from rescue centre so don't know exactly) He is about medium size, GSD X (collie maybe) good with kids/babies/people. Likes to play with dogs outside home, don't know about in a shared house. Is reasonably well behaved on lead, he does pull a bit on lead, however in a halti he is fine. Has never shown aggression, even with food or bones. Soppy, lively, funny. Loves sticks and trees and swimming. :(
Can anyone help? It's a hard decision to make so no crit please, I am doing what i think is best for him, he is a dog who likes being in the garden and having walks in woods and countryside, not a town. Bucks area.

I hope you find a nice place for him soon - he looks such a lovely, happy dog from your photos.

Would it be worth contacting your local rescue centre or boarding kennels to see if they can suggest some foster homes? Maybe a boarding kennels might do a special rate for a long term stay - worth a try.

Maybe add your location to this post and see if anyone can help with a foster home.
I can add him to our rescue site if you decide rehoming is best, atleast then there are some stipulations/home check and and "back up given".

that would be helpful Cayla, thanks. I have messaged BB, but I think he would probably be too much for her spaniel to handle, but we will see.
The local rescue place doesn't have a foster list and the place I got him... well, put it this way, they weren't bothered where he went and asked me nothing, just wanted the money ;/ so I don't want to put him back there.

This is Milo btw,

I'll ask my sister if she knows anyone. I don't think they'll have a new one in themselves as theyve just got a new pup but will ask anyway :)
