Edited to say I think one may be needed at Quainton stud also but not their own mare as far as im aware.

Hi everyone, against the odds our mare is standing and nibbling at hay this morning, during the night the foal even learnt to suckle from her when she was down, so we did not have to feed him. by 4 am she was standing by herself and drinking.........I have spoken to Ranby hall this morning but am keeping everything crossed.
