Update: just picked foal up from vets but still no foster mare located.

Rita - thanks for message, I think I replied but not sure if it worked. Please can you let me know if the mare mentioned still has milk or not?

try these, my mare died after foaling and they came straight out with a mare to me, they were fully adopted after 20 hours and they stayed with the mare until she had accepted him

Yes, the foal is being bottle fed currently but still hoping we can find a foster mare as would be better in the long run.
Have emailed channel 4 racing, so hoping there will be an on screen announcement for him!

Yep, foaling bank have been contacted but unfortunately there aren't any mares available.

Hi the group is foster mares 2013 on facebook, there based in northamptonshire, lovely people and excellent! my mare died after prolapsing her uterus nearly 3 weeks ago so they had the job of getting my 20 hour foal on there mare when he had neve been on a mare before. its Michael Grange 07811100311, 01832720360

Hope all goes well! We went through these as the foaling bank had no mares. if they have ran out of mares try and find a mare who stil has a foal on her that was born last year and ready for weaning as this will help lots and ask them to come help you adopt, the sooner the foals on a mare the better as he will be then learning how to be a horse and not hink hes a human
