Dogs trust surprisingly doesn’t mind!

We had an old, spayed girl with us briefly from the dogs trust whom we had a foster agreement for. She stayed with us, and the dogs trust paid for all her vet bills aside from routine stuff like vaccines and parasite prevention meds.

Her former owners had done her a ton of damage with overfeeding, and we were essentially a hospice stop. Maybe they wouldn't have allowed us to foster if it had been a younger dog that was expected to live much more than a year.

We also had two entire males at the time (albeit who were also elderly) that they were fully aware of.

This was a good 12 years or so ago mind, but I didn't find them unreasonable to deal with.
