Fostering problem

For reasons I don't want to go into here, I think I need to find a shortish term foster home for my beautiful English Pointer bitch, for about 3 months. The breed rescue have quite enough on their plate and all their 'fosterers' are taken. The suggestion is that she is kennelled, which I am loath to do, and I am sure she wouldn't thrive. I definitely do not want to rehome her, she is much loved and I cannot part with her.

Do anyone have any suggestions about the best way to find someone suitable that isn't just random advertising? Is there such a site or forum for this sort of thing?

You could try animal samaritans or contact dogs trusr and see if they could recommend anywhere.

What kind of home are you looking for? I know a couple of smaller rescues in this area (NE Derbyshire) who may be able to help and have a couple of friends who foster who may be able to help.
