Found 2 horses

We had a pair of youngsters disappear years ago back in the Fatherland. They escaped from a field. We searched everywhere for days with no luck. Just when we thought they must have been stolen and possibly gone for meat, we got a call from somebody. They just walked onto his drive one morning, refusing to leave... At first I thought "yeah, of course... You can't flOg them more like with all the publicity" then we had a call from the motorway police ... Apparently the two had crossed the motorway several times (!) during the previous weeks. A case of one force not speaking to the other. We could have had them back earlier...
 
What I am trying to say ... They may be from somewhere near but just another district? Everybody copy and paste details on your fb might help?

Have tracked down the owners!!!!! Sadly owners hadn't noticed they where missing but hey ho at least they can now be reunited. Seems they had traveled about 5 miles in the dark but alls well that ends well:D:D:D

Glad they were reunited, but I have to ask - HOW did they not notice they were missing!? :eek:

Glad the owners have been found, BUT how the ell did they not know they had been missing for a week!!
 
Apparently they thought the horses had gone further down the field........:eek::eek:.
But at least we have managed to find there owner even if they hadn't realised they where missing.
 
Well I'm really glad they have all been reunited, but I would think the welfare folk should be having a stern word with them. Supposing they had both fallen into a ditch and died slowly? Where I keep my girl I'm the only person who bothers to visit their horse twice a day, some only visit a couple of times a week. Its shameful but seemingly rather common.

Fortunately, when they came to collect them the 2 police ladies who had been helping to locate the owners (both horse owners:) ) greeted them and read them the riot act, closely followed by the rspca gentleman who had been out to see them and there conversation got very heated as the woman didn't seem to think the sweetitchy one needed any intervention :( :eek:
But i am assured they (the rspca) will be keeping a close eye on them.
So at least things should improve for them now, x

Well done for your care of them, they've probably had more attention this last week than they've had for a long time! I hope the RSPCA really does keep an eye on them now.
