for those of you that have had the pleasure (?!?!) of reading my many recent rambling posts, you'll know that i'm in the process of buying a new house so i can have my horse at home. we've found THE house, but it doesn't have equestrian facilities... so we're having to start from scratch...
i've looked at a few different stableyards/manufacturers and today i randomly stumbled upon a place that makes stables... they are E J Lucas and Son, and i just thought i should share with you how lovely they were!
the stables seemed really decent and solid (esp their 'hunter' range) and had lovely extras. and the best thing about it? the quote was less than half i expected it to be! and.... they do 'mobile' stables (no planning required...?). the man told us all about the specifications, but it meant b*gger all to me... however, my hubby assured me what was being said was good...
also, they were exceptionally friendly people. not pushy, hardsellers. they gave us loads of info about the planning etc. their website doesn't do the stables justice at all. if you live locally to them (west dereham, near norfolk) and are looking for new stables, i recommend taking a look.
this isn't advertising, as i'm not in any way connected to the company, but i'll delete their name if people think i should.
