You may remember me banging on about Barry's vitrectomy... just in case you don't

he was found to have huge floaters in one eye (after nearly having to be pts because he was too dangerous to ride and was desperately stressed) and was operated on at Leahurst by a German chap who flew over specially.

Anyway.... went up to Leahurst today to drop off cards etc and was chatting to Prof Knottenbelt. After seeing and assisting with Barry's vitrectomy he is now doing them himself and has done one horse with uveitis and another for floaters like Barry's.

Soooooooooo happy that not only have we got our beautiful boy back but because of him, other people's horses have been given new lives too!!

Handsome boy - and I think it's wonderful too that his (and your) horrid experience is helping other horses and owners.

that's fab - thanks for sharing. So glad your boy is sorted, and its great that it has all helped others in the future. For once, a good news story - Well done!
