I'd like to say a huge thank you to Druid for giving me the link!

Irish Sport Equine Horses
I really like:

1) Sweetie
2) Fred (probably my favourite! I'm not usually a fan of coloureds but I love him!

)
3) Jock

I love Barney too, but don't think he'd be the most suitable for eventing, what do you think? All opinions appreciated!

I dont really like any of them, would be a good place to go and try out several though, get a feel for what you like/dont like.
It is pretty hard to judge a horse through one photo though!

I would be a little warey as they sound to have possibly been used either in a riding centre or ridden by a lot of people. I could be wrong but alarm bells sounded when I read the descriptions.
None look particularly suitable for eventers, some have too little tb, and all look more like decent riding club horses to me.
There is another irish site, I will see if I can find it for you, try irish breeders in a search engine, that might work better.
We are delighted with the mare that came from Goresbridge, the dressage trainer rode her today and put a decent value on her as a dressage horse, despite the fact she is aimed at eventing!
if you see any by the stallion Baron de Chantepie, go and see them, Layla is very laid back and trainable. (so much so we are going horse buying next spring to try and find some more like her...)

Neither am I but I've now sat on 3 and an ex-HHO member owns one she bought blind...all have turned out to be complete stars in thier own way.

But are any of them junior eventers? If I'm correct, and I may not be, castlemouse has not junior evented before so something that has done that sort of level, or even just slightly below would be ideal, and it's b ig enough if you're doing eventing ireland. They do all look very average and I prefer to see riding pics.
OF course, I may be biased as I have a thing about dealers, particularly ones that don't have a really good web and detailed descriptions about each horse.
However, you can contact them for more inof so I don't know..

Can keep my eyes open for you if you want - my current & ex YOs tend to have quite a few horses come through them

pm me with exactly what yuo are looking for if you like - age, experience budget etc.

Hmm, wish sites like these would ruddy use a spell checker!

jock is a novice ride he is a super mover and is good enough to show in a hunter class, a rear horse to come for sale one in a million

a rear horse? for goodness sake! so not a professional look is it?

No none scream top level eventer...but (although I'm not 100%) judging by what CM has posted so far her budget doesn't extend to what a junior eventer is going for here (10k+ for a so-so animal)

True, but I think a horse to do pre-novice you could pick up for 5K, up here anyway. Although they do seem to be hard to find

none are sitable for eventing, not enough tb in them. Would be lucky to get a decent junior eventer for less than 10k over here (ie one that has done a few novices and is straight forward to ride). As someone else suggested, Northern Ireland is better value (or perhaps more realistically priced animals). Goresbridge is a good place to try (esp for youngsters).

None of them appeal to me. They all look too chunky for eventing and they dont really look to have good conformation. The photos dont really do them justice though.
