He's a bit special! 17hh, 15yr old Shire/TB cross who has competed at Premier League PSG level, and knows all the GP party tricks. He has been gainfully employed as a dressage schoolmaster for the last few years, and is now looking for a bit more one-to-one. He doesn't owe anyone anything, so I have no grand plans. We may compete, we may not. He's going to be a fun horse.
 
very handsome and kind looking chap :) im sure you're going to have lots of fun with him and we shall look forward to hearing all about your antics :D

Oh, you're not wrong at special. I'm mega jealous. He's adorable...very much looking forward to your future threads about him.

I love the collection of tack in your front room.. I can imagine you're lovingly cleaning that saddle in front of the tv right now ;) :D
 
I suspect I'm going to bore everyone rigid gushing about him. It's a long time since I've had a 'made' horse at that level to ride - and I can hardly wait!! He's having a little holiday when he arrives - it's going to be torture!

It's in my sons room! He has been objecting quite strongly...
Saddle is already clean! I've had it about 15 years, and I am hoping and praying it fits him!

4 more sleeps is like aaaaaaaaaaaaages, but really you only have 3 because you won't sleep at all on the 4th:p
 
He is gorgeous and sounds wonderful. Many congratulations! Me thinks there will be more in the "new horse gear" pile by Monday. You know, killing time, you may visit places you shouldn't!

I've been rather hampered by snapping the gear cable in my car - can't go anywhere til its fixed! He is coming with bridle and rugs, so I have enough to be going on with. Suspect that I may be swayed by matchy matchy before too long though!
 
Oooooh is this the horse that someone on here sent you a pm about in a previous post? :-) was wondering if that had went anywhere....

Of course you could always have a glass of wine (or 3) to aid your sleeping abilities until he arrives, but I wouldn't go too mad on the night before! :) x

Not the same horse. We did talk about the other one, but decided he was going to be a little too sensitive for my son to ride. This boy is a very sensible easy ride for novices, but also has the ability to raise his game considerably when requested. Perfect for what I wanted.
