Four year old update

Jacques has been backed four weeks and will be off to his first baby dressage comp soon, just for the experience of going out and about.
He is getting better every day and is incredibly intelligent, he is happily popping 2' 9 " effortlessly, so this week he will progress on to some polework and cantering over two poles on the floor to learn how to jump out of canter.

I am impressed how much he has filled out in such a short tiome he looks a lot better. I am glad he is using his backend for jumping now

So are we, although we daren't give him a day off yet until he decides exploding isn't a good idea.
CCj is busy riding three or four a day with her Dad laid up, but he gets done before all the rest!
