it looked like it had the start of mange at the base of its tail- i would think itwas destroyed- we hunt but either a fox is either very much alive or dead, cant stand cruelty.

I noticed that too, so hope that's what happened and not that it was 'relocated'. Couldn't agree more on your cruelty point. Was brought up on the respect aspect of hunting and it resonates more and more when one sees what goes on today.
