Fractured Shoulder Prognosis

My filly fractured her shoulder when she was 7 months old. She is 3 next year and am not sure what the chances are that she will ever be able to be ridden. She has been visibly sound for around 6 months now.
I am planning to get the vet out next spring to asses her but was just wondering if anyone has had similar experience and what the outcome was.

My friends mums horse had a fractured shoulder when they bought her and were told that she'd never be ridden. They gave her i think a year maybe a bit more out in a field then one day friend decided to try riding her or something along those lines and she was fine and has been ridden ever since. She does everything sj, xc, dressage and friend is taking her hunting this year.
