Our horse was found to have fragmentation of the navicular bone along with bone oedema amongst other things in near fore and PSD of hind limbs. About 4 weeks ago he was given Tildren and his navicular bursaries were medicated with steroids. Vet came to check him yesterday she said was much improved behind following the paddock rest but that he was still 2/10ths lame on near fore. She is going to go back and look through records, wants to assess at the surgery after next weeks shoeing and possibly medicate the navicular bursaries again.
Has anyone else had any similar experiences?
