I don't want to bore you with updates, so do say when you have had enough!
We've now been here for 10 days and everyone is settling in. I have ridden all three horses (decked in all my safety equipment) and they have all managed to behave themselves. This in itself is a minor miracle, but I think we are due some good karma, as nothing else wants to behave itself!!!
- Our chimney leaks water and has ivy growing through it which is attempting to take over the house - not a good sign!
- We bought a new fridge, but every time we touch it, it gives us electric shocks! Monsieur Electrician thinks it's fine!
- Our shower (made out of heavy concrete) is suspended on the first floor with nothing to support it and is threatening to plummet to the ground
Monsieur Builder thinks it's not fine and we should not use the shower in case we plummet with it!
So, urm, better get back to the horses then...R is still a bit unsettled and prefers to stay within sight of the others, but is relaxing more and more everyday. F has been really good, quite forward going and no nappiness (I was worried the move might trigger some of his nappiness but he seems happier in a completely new environment - weird!). And C is his usual lovely self. If R can tolerate letting C out of his sight we'll go for a canter in the park and I'll try to take some photos.
I'm still having to remove bucket loads of bobbles from everyone, everyday (even OH has now joined in and passes on bobble covered socks every evening!), but there's bound to be an end to the bobble season, isn't there? Please say yes!
