I don't want to bore you with updates, so do say when you have had enough!

We've now been here for 10 days and everyone is settling in. I have ridden all three horses (decked in all my safety equipment) and they have all managed to behave themselves. This in itself is a minor miracle, but I think we are due some good karma, as nothing else wants to behave itself!!!

- Our chimney leaks water and has ivy growing through it which is attempting to take over the house - not a good sign! :(
- We bought a new fridge, but every time we touch it, it gives us electric shocks! Monsieur Electrician thinks it's fine!
- Our shower (made out of heavy concrete) is suspended on the first floor with nothing to support it and is threatening to plummet to the ground  :( Monsieur Builder thinks it's not fine and we should not use the shower in case we plummet with it! :D

So, urm, better get back to the horses then...R is still a bit unsettled and prefers to stay within sight of the others, but is relaxing more and more everyday. F has been really good, quite forward going and no nappiness (I was worried the move might trigger some of his nappiness but he seems happier in a completely new environment - weird!). And C is his usual lovely self. If R can tolerate letting C out of his sight we'll go for a canter in the park and I'll try to take some photos.

I'm still having to remove bucket loads of bobbles from everyone, everyday (even OH has now joined in and passes on bobble covered socks every evening!), but there's bound to be an end to the bobble season, isn't there? Please say yes!

Glad to hear the horses are settling in well and behaving themselves, but the fridge and the shower sound very scary!

Definitely keep on with the updates and we want pics with the next one!

Sounds like fun! I am sure you will get the teething issues sorted and be well away.

I read your original "We have arrived" post and was wondering how you had settled since. I wish we had the nerve to do what you are doing so I will be awaiting your updates so the more the merrier - update away please!

Hope the shower gets resolved, you could put all the bobbles in your hair and not shower and look like those New Age Travellers!

Sounds absolutely great and M.Le Builder sounds hilarious. Try wearing wellies or rubber gloves for the fridge and a safety line in the shower.
If its any consolation my collies came home covered in bobbles from their walk yesterday, I think its just that time of year, whereever you are!

LOL! I can anchor the line on the fridge, so that I get electrocuted before I fall to my death!

You really, really, really cannot imagine the amount of bobbles here! Everyone looks like a bobbly version of PigPen!

Glad the horses have settled in well and havn't been upset by the move. :)
I look forward to the pics with the next update. :D
I hope you get everything else sorted soon.

Give me strength...Monsieur Le Farmer's Son just took it upon himself to turn up while we were out, take down the electric fencing and move the horses fields. Cue all the horses going nuts AND learning that the electric fencing is something we can walk over!

I managed to contain myself and mention nicely but firmly that horses are very dangerous and he must never do anything like this again, but all I got in response is that he is used to cattle! Do you think a jury would convict me if I throttled him now?
