I clipped his claws not so long ago and it was fine then, I'm not sure when he's managed it, tbh he climbs up and off things all the time so I'm slightly unsurprised 🫣
It's obviously sore because he cries if I try and touch it to get a better look 🥺 But it's not hot and he's not lame on it.
Do I just bathe it (if he lets me) and keep an eye on it or do I need to try and get him into the vet tomorrow?
Google isn't being very helpful so thought I'd ask here

It is sore and if possible I’d soak it in salty water, even if you can just dunk his leg. But I’d give it a day as it probably just needs to harden up.

No hope of dunking his leg. He occasionally will sit on the side of the bath when I have one, and dunk a toe in very tentatively but otherwise he's very much typical cat who won't go near water.
I did some cooked boiled salt water and did some soggy cotton pads and got it roughly near his sore leg.
It's not often I wish I didn't live on my own, but there are some jobs that would definitely be easier if there was another pair of hands!
He's also a smart cookie - he knows if he hides behind or on something I can fish him out/off... If he climbs and sits on my back it's harder to get to him, and he is so incredibly balanced. Outsmarted by a cat 🫣🤣
I'm going to see if I can catch him during his morning nap time tomorrow when he might be a bit more mellow and see if he'll let me take a better look 🤞
