Fraying Tack

Ok I have a lovely Morris and Nolan Bridle. Saved up for it especially as I was sick of buying crap ones. Only problem is despite paying a fair bit for it and cleaning and conditioning it once a fortnight on average, the throat lash where the buckle goes through the holes is fraying. It's really irritating me. Is there any thing i can do to suck it all back in?

When did you get it?

If you can't take it back for some reason, ask a saddler to reseal it for you, should only take a moment or two to skim the edges and redo.

Take it back. Not of merchantable quality. Sale of Goods Act. Might be out of date with the wording, but the gist is there. They'll probably send it back to M and N, who will probably fix it.
