I read that earlier, awful. What I don't really understand is if the choke part of the slip leads was round her neck how was the other end attached to the dogs that they could pull her? No doubt it's just the way its reported.
It looks as if the dogs got hold of the lead ends and pulled ? Certainly going to stop me putting lead round my neck in future, I dont use slip lead but put round my neck and thread the clip end through the hand loop.
A lead round the neck is a fantastic handle for someone who might want to attack you anyway. Not that I generally spend dog walks worrying about that but it has crossed my mind.
Poor woman. Not a nice end. But neither is Huntingtons disease. Very sad.
I know of someone online who lost their daughter to an accident with a leadrein carried around the neck, so it’s not something I’d ever do with anything.
