So we have this natural well on our land
Keeping a very long story short it's supposed to be the portal to hell ! The legend said aka the doomsday book
That the devil was defeated and sent to hell through this particular well
In the past we have had heaps of trouble at the well with weird and wonderful people doing some random stuff down there
But it has been quiet now for a number of years untill today !!
While walking the dogs past the well they caught a sent of something and entered the well zone barking like crazy
So down I went

Only to find a goats head hanging from the trees !! And lots of twigs broken from the trees and place all together in a line making what looks like a path to the well !
I've tried google but not much help
Does any one here no what it means ? Or why someone would do this ?
Sorry I know it's not the place to post really but thought someone might know something about it ?
We bravely removed the skull and now thinking we might be cursed from doing so 😂 But we have kids at the yard we can't have animal skulls hanging from trees

Had to be near Halloween as well
Scared and freaked out
 
Errrrr what the ??????? I would report it too - you never know just what weirdos are hanging about !!!!! Better to be safe than sorry ....

No we haven't reported it thought the police would just laugh at us
We had loads of problems before and the police where none to helpful !
Although they did sit at the bottom of out lane all Halloween lol
I am a little freaked out dreading doing night hay tonight
 
OMG thats horrible. I would defo make sure you get this investigated, you don't want crazy people hanging around your yard doing things like that!! what total morons!

Just so weird they most of known where the well was its a good 30 min walk from any roads ect and is tucked away I never go down there no one does really
Just makes me wonder why they have done it ?
It can't be directed to scare us or any thing cause we don't go down there and it's so out of there way must be a reason for it
 
Only thing I can think of is those weird not very nice devil worship types who kill animals (often read about it) to make some sort of sacrifice to the devil/gods. I read an article in the paper a few weeks back of a yearly ritual in an Eastern country where a group of men rip a live goat to pieces as a sacrifice to their god to ensure they have a long and prosperous life. ( theory behind it is a load of bo**ocks) if you ask me and downright cruel!!!!)
As odd as it is I would report it to the police just so you have a record. If you have your horses or other livestock nearby id be keeping an eye out they don’t become a target . Apologies if im putting the frighteners on but it’s not uncommon for these deranged people to do this stuff. Especially with Halloween coming up which I detest!

As others have said severed goat head is regarded as a symbol of the devil so definitely report it to the police ideally as soon as possible x
 
God that's so sick ! and pointless
Aww hope they stay away from the ponies although we do have 24 hour security he clearly missed them at the well !
I'm guessing it is some form of devil worshipers as we have had trouble with them in the past guess I thought it had all gone away as have not had trouble with them for years now after many threats cause I stopped them going there
Cause they was leaving nasty things about the place

Defiantly will report it when I get home
Hopefully the police will keep an eye out
 
definitely report it and when you do point out that the police have never taken you seriously before but they now need to act and do something about it
 
Was it an actual head or just a skull? Might sound a weird question but if it was an old skull, I would probably be less worried about my own livestock than if it was a fresh head. However, a fresh head might be easier to trace the origin off, especially if ear tag still in place.

If it was the a head, rather than skull, I would definitely report it.

I would suggest getting in touch with your local policing team (or what's left of them, sigh) and they might be able to circulate the information and passing patrols could keep a look out. I doubt without a specific threat they will be able to do much, but it's definitely worth reporting. Which constabulary jurisdiction do you fall within?
 
So just spoken to the police
They have said there's nothing much they can do about it other than if we catch them on our land to call them and they can do them for trespassing
 
Well they know and have it logged .
If anything more nasty happens at least you have it logged that it was an issue before .
Is the well capped ?
 
Once out hacking in a forest I came across a Rottweiler hanging from a tree with a spike through her head. Her belly had been cut open and her unborn puppies dead in a scattered pile beneath her. There had been a fire built and a few piles of rocks that had been deliberately made to symbolise something.

It was put down to Devil Worshippers and not a lot could be done unless they were caught in the act. Some people are just creepy and sick, yet sadly seem to find like minded people to form a Cult and do hideous things.

Sadly not as its a natural spring so would always be there and I believe it's protected I think what ever we put down there it would just flood it weirdly enough it's always at the exact same level even after heavy rain full or no rain at all it's all full just to the top


Oh illusion that's dreadful how horrid for you to find that so many sick people in the world

My god that is *******ing sick! even creepier when you read about people being sacrificed O.O, religion these days causes more problems than enough sadly, I wish these cultists would be unearthed and locked away :/
