and he's just lovely. Dropped his toy down the loo on the first day - think he was trying to put it on the loo seat as opposed to telling us he doesn't like it.

Has vacated his bed in favour of the sofa to sleep on at bedtime and now barks when someone comes to the door so think he's well and truly settled in. Loves to retrieve and will put his toy next to you or on your lap and nudge until you throw it. Looking out for a local agility class to take him too now as i think he'd be really good at it.

Has had some good basic training, heel, wait etc all pretty good - recall is generally ok but if he sees another dog/deer/fox etc you have to be quick to call him back otherwise he builds up a head of steam and goes so need to keep your eyes peeled

His spatial awareness leaves something to be desired though - took him out for his late night pee up the track in the woods and called him to go back. Cue Freddie thundering back at full speed and crashed into my legs - I'm still impressed I didn't fall over but have a honking great bruise
