Thought Freddie fans might like to see him finally in his stable and happy :-) Well he doesn't look overly happy in the photos as he is used to getting his grub the minute he comes in :-)
Some of you will know we couldnt keep Freddie in his stable and a full grill sent him bananas to the point he was still rearing 3 hours later in his stable, he stayed out in that monsoon unrugged and eventually he got a little bit of rain scald, so we persuaded him that a rain sheet would be a good idea :-) and moved the horses around and gave Freddie the elderly mares ensuite stable  well the spoilt brat loved it the minute he went in there, I didn't even feel the need to think about a grill! He's been in over a week now, and out by day with a rain sheet on, he is so grown up!!

Its Miscanthus (Elephant Grass) It's amazing stuff, he lies on it every night and it doesn't move!! Takes his weight etc etc... I bank it and removed poos every day, come weekend i remove wee patch! I use it on 2 other horses too, and you use 1 bag a week per horse, so basically costs about a fiver to bed your horses! X
PS everyone says he looks a pansy in his rug, but Freddie has refused to roll in it, so I think he likes his spotty dotty! hehe

lol. He's simply telling you that he should only have the best! Going to be a very spoilt coblet :D

I do feel rather guilty as he has kicked the 23yr old TB who is his boss out of her stable, but hey ho.... I am sure she is being extra mean to him in the field to make up for it! I also felt bad that the Welsh pony had to move to another stable, but like her owner said, its a step up from the wood shed that she was in haha X

I have that rug! Although mine isn't so clean looking :) it doesn't seem to fit my mare too well though, she is a TB and the chest is too narrow and doesn't quite fit and the neck a bit of a weird shape! I do love it though :)

Fred has 6 foot 6! It fits him nicely, but he has a stumpy short neck lol... lots of room on the chest, but it looks like a big tent on him, guess because he needs it to big for his width, if you know what I mean! X
