I must be mad but another orphan arrived last night to keep Freddyphant company! The thought behind it being they will keep each other company so neither will become too dependent on me and should in theory make life much simpler too - that was the advertising jargon anyway; I'll let you know later whether it was right or not!
Luckily, when they met they were quite pleased to see each other and soon settled down.
Another bay colt although I can't tell just yet what colour he will end up as it's quite a silvery coat atm. He too is a TB cross, very similar to Freddy, born a day apart but not as big and he goes by the name of Harry. I'll take some pic's later if I have any energy - or spare time!.

I think you're a saint- two little bundles of trouble is going to be hard work!!

Do you know who their sires are?

Oh my goodness, double trouble! Would love to know the story behind Freddie and now Harry (must have missed something). Pics would be great.

What a sweetie and such a big boy for his age. I think Freddy is a lovely name - we have a Freddy and it's quite suitable for a cheeky monkey

Where are you going to get your energy from?

They're both by teasers at a large private stud so not available to the general public which seems a shame when you look at these two, they both seem like nice sorts.
Freddy is very much in your face, is that mine, why isn't it mine type of guy, don't think anything will faze him while Harry, admittedly not 24 hours here yet, he seems a background retiring sort ATM. All last night he drank well from a bowl, this morning it's stiff upper lip and 'if you think I want that, you're very much mistaken, I'd much rather suck Fred's willy!' so I've had to syringe some milk down him which he was not best pleased at but can't have him getting dehydrated, it happens so quickly with foals as you know. (Meanwhile, Freddy is trying to pilfer the lot; he'd be the size of a house if you let him!)

Think I'll have to lay in a store of Mars Bars and Weetabix, I can survive on those!

- though I'd be the size of a house by the time they're weaned off this milking lark!

I'll also probably have a sense of humour failure by then too, it certainly won't be inches!

OH thinks I'm barking but does agree 2 should be easier/better than 1! He's slightly mollified that I had already put three up for sale and sold Joey to my vet though!

Pic's are duly ordered for when I have enough energy and can do it without crashing the computer or something equally stupid!
