Been trying to find a home for my 14.2hh gelding welsh D X but finding it really difficult, does anyone know where I can find a permanent home for him asap?
Can he be ridden? If he must be kept as a companion does he have any health needs, is he reasnoble in company.
If he can't be worked and you are unable to keep him then I'm afraid you are looking at rather a shortage of choices. There are alot of horses looked after by charities and already homed as companions. If you are looking to do the same then I think you will have your work cut out.
Basically you have four options:
loan/sell to a riding home
loan/sell to a companion home (if selling an unriddable horse then it must be considered that you can't then have any control over what then happens to him - dealer/market spiral must be borne in mind)
keep him
