I saw this on Facebook and couldn't ignore it. Not sure how true it is, but if it is, it's awful. :(

Mnurgh. Second outing in 24 hours for this one! It's an old story from Jan and apparently all were rehomed in five days. Still nice that people care to spread the word, mind.

Alot of it going on am afraid, my grandad was telling me today that Beeston market had 30 colts that someone couldn't sell so they left them there so they where selling them off for £1 per one, the meat man bought the lot.
Can't understand why they are bred in the first place

Yeah it's a scam. Heard this several times. Although it is a real problem. The racing industry has a lot to answer for. Thousands of TBs are bred in the UK every year, approximately 200 make it to a race. How many of those do you think are actually winners?

its a scam!!!! its a number that charges you when you call so don't a few people have been caught out allready

I did wonder, but I don't frequent this forum often enough to know that it's a repeat scam. Didn't want it it on my conscience if it was true and said nothing. Would rather look a bit silly and post anyway.

HEART BREAKING! :-(

sorry to sound harsh but i would rather they were put down than given free to people with no idea just to save them from slaughter & they end up suffering through ignorance.
we might find the idea of slaughter horridbut for the animal in question they know very little of it & they are garenteed not to end up starved or worse still overfed to the point of pain, no farrier visits, ect....
its the same be it moor ponies,TBs, mountian ponies.............
