Free tack adverts under £500 (sticky up the top)

Just wondered if anyone had taken 'advantage' of the H&H free tack adverts that they offered as an incentive to not post ads in our sigs?

I'm about to place an ad and just wondered if it was worth the bother? Anyone tried them?

I have received two emails regarding my dressage saddle. Both in rather bad English, asking about condition etc. and asking for photos. After taking loads of pics and messing about cropping them etc they then e mailed back saying they would buy it and would send me a Western Union transfer for £2000 and would I give them the change. Be warned!

Completely aside but have you seen the 'scam the scammer' story? Someone managed to convince the scammer that he was going to accept the transfer and then went on to get $50 out of the scammer thus making a profit out of them!

I bought a saddle through the tack ad's - Wintec 2000 in brown, very pleased with it....

Planning to pop my saddle on just incase someone is looking for something like it....
 
I put one on and got to 'scam' emails and thats all. They really must think we were born yesterday. One asked about my fascinating saddle. Sorry but although its a nice saddle it really is in no way fascinating....
