Cut a long story short! I have got a Rotti that lives with my ex at the moment, we spilt up a year ago and because I work long hours etc and have the horse he said he would keep her.
He has just called me to say he is moving in with his new girlfirend in which the house they live in can not have pets..

So he asked me to have her back, now I can not have her as I live in a one bedroom house and still work long hours.

Georgia is good as gold and you can not fault her at all. She is female so a small Rotti and very pretty!! She is 6 years old house trained good off the lead been round horses.
This break's my hart to write this as I love her to bits but I want her to go to a good home, and have the love and care that she needs.
She is full vac - Have all her stuff.

I am based in Oxfordshire and so is the dog..

I really want her to go to a nice home and would like to see where she is going before I let her go.

I can not get over my ex doing this to me I think its really un fair of him, and he has said he asked everyone he knows and if I can not find anyone then he is going to take her to RSPCA, which I can no way let happen.

Please can anyone help me!!

Thanks
Claire

This is her!

What a shame. Try contacting rottie rescue, you could also post her details on http://www.dogpages.org.uk/. I am sure I don't need to say be very careful about prospective homes, Rotties unfortunately can attract the wrong sort of people

I adore G, she is such a lovely dog. I only wish I had the room and time for her too, but with my two boys at home it would cause a riot!

I hope you find a happy solution/home for her.

Aw bless - she looks lovely. Is she good with other dogs?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes very - I did have two Rotti's but one got put down so is used to being with another dog.
Loves to play!

Ahh - she is a beauty, that was gonna be my question. Is she ok with other dogs, does she live in/out, ok with kids, general health, spayed, etc?

General Health is excellent no problems, she lives in all the time! Not sure she would cope with living out side!! She is a posh Rotti!! Likes her nice warm bed or in bed with you!

Yes very good with kids and yes she is Spayed.

I think I may know the perfect person....hang on and I will try to contact her.

She has two other rotties and horses. May not be able to contact her until this evening....

Mrs Bunter Lady you will get me shot!! lol

What's Geogia's general temprment like? Is she your average happy to sleep happy to go out for a ponder and a snuffle or is she fairly energetic?

I have to ask because our Hollypotamus has ongoing health issues

Hello
She is not a MAD dog full of energy, she loves her walks and will walk for miles! I used to leave her 7 hours per day when I was at work and she would just sleep all day in her bed.
If you want play time with her, get toys out etc and she will play, put them away and she will go in her bed.
She is very well trained and will sit, give paw, lye down, Roll over!! Anything for a bit of cheese!! ha ha!
She also loves socks!! If you have socks in the Washing Machine she will oull them out and have a play with them.
You can take her food away from her do anything with her.
O one thing! She does not like her feet being touched! So she has to go the vets to have her nails clipped! She has never liked anyone touching her feet! very strange!! But then again I am not keen on people touching my feet LOL!!
