because I am FED UP of the little madam chasing cats whenever she gets an opportunity :mad::mad::mad:

Late home today so went out to get Bob in when it was dark - let the dogs off to have a scamper around, whereupon Islay doubled back in the darkness and went back onto the yard, then headed off home. As she passed the YO's house she found a cat waiting outside.... cue mad chase across the gardens before cat managed to jump over a fence and escape :mad::mad:

Oh and you can have Amy as well, cos she threw up in the car AGAIN on the way to Oxfordshire today  Why do I have dogs again?

:D

I'll swap you for a mostly black hound just one year older. Last night mine woke me up at 5am. How you ask? His belly was rumbling so loudly that it woke me even though I was in a different room. He has also discovered that nobody ignores him if he unexpectedly nudges them up the backside as hard as he can. So guess what his new party trick is?

I saw the heading of this thread and I thought .. Oooooo I will have another greyhound ... let me just look, then I thought ... NO .. don't look, you really don't want another dog :)

But I had to have a look - just in case  lucky that it wasn't serious :o

LOL my lurcher used to be like that - once a month he would refuse food for a day, and his stomach would rumble like nothing on earth  He was never sick or had an upset stomach, it was just part of him. We got used to it in the end :D

Noooooooo! please don't tempt me

whispers... I would only want a little girl - my last 'big boy' was a bit too big and pee'd everywhere :( .... I still loved him though :)

Swap ya :D Mine are all very ickle greyhounds, and I was actually looking for a big dog :D

Although really I couldnt be without any of them, greyhounds know how to get to you dont they :D Even my mum was cuddled up with Flick on the sofa today, and she is strictly a CKCS fan :D

I'll swap you two stupid farty bum staffs :D
My two girls will walk into my bedroom fart then walk back to their bed and yes it does wake me up :mad::mad:
Who said raw meat helps with farting???

LMAO :D Your staffs look gorgeous in your sig :D Mine are on a raw diet too, nope I would agree it definitely does not help :D:D

Thanks :D I have always had staffs and just love them but after seeing the greyhounds in your sig I am falling in love with the breed and I love the white with black, Flick I think (please correct if Im wrong)
I will say they don't fart as much since being on raw but what does drive me mad they have my living room with access to balcony to fart on but no they come into my room on my side of the bed lick hand face foot or which ever body part is hanging out the side of the bed, I then semi wake up thinking its morning to then be hit by a STINK bomb :eek:
Quick question if I did get a greyhound how would she/he cope with living with 4 cats :(

If you specify a cat friendly greyhound when you speak to the rescue people, he/she would be absolutely fine with cats :) Honestly, there are loads of pics on the GRWE website (www.grwe.com) of cats and greyhounds playing together and curled up together :)

My lot were never designed to be cat friendly unfortunately because at the time I had a house with a garden and no cats! It is only now I live on the livery yard that I have cat issues :D

I do that every time I look on there :o So I try not to look too often :D Beware though, greyhounds are addictive, you cannot just have one! I am fighting my urge to get a 4th one at the moment.....

Go get another one you know you want to :D

I am going to give them a call this week to find out all about rehoming one Im sure my two girls would be happy to share their sofa with one as well :D

I think greyhounds are slowly taking over the forum .. ;)

Poor little shmaimey....u could always tie her up again and see if someone takes her away:(

:p

I was tempted to leave her on the side of the road when she started heaving again :p Luckily she has never had anything to eat before she travels so it is only ever froth (sorry if thats TMI!) but I think I'll need to steam clean my car soon :D:D
