Free to good home

Oh gawd. Another unwanted Staffie, possibly an unneutered bitch, not housetrained... what chance has this poor wee dog got?:(

I swear 90% of dogs needing a new home are staffs. Wonder why that is ....... :/

My friend was a manager of the dog section at the RSPCA in my area and i often helped out and the problem with Staffs is chavs give them the reputation of being fighter dogs most of them are taught to fight and be agressive and so it starts with them having a bad reputation, these people cannot afford to newter their animals and so they breed before you know it you have over breeding of staffordshire bull terriers which by the way as lovely natured dogs and very loyal that no one wants to buy or least off all re-home beacuse of the reputation they have.

Bring back dog licencing that what I say

I asume they were trying to say Chiwawa? I would think at that price either they are part breeds or they are desperate to sell them. But such a shame

Possibly the bitch will stand more chance of a home than if she was in rescue, poor little thing. At least people will be able to see her in a relaxed state, so many dogs look awful in kennels.

Unfortunately as Spudlet says its unlikely the poor bitch will find a decent family home, being used as a breeding machine might even be one of the better options. I will drop the owner an email and try and enlighten them.As to not having time because she has a part time job, pathetic excuse.
Stacey lou, when there was dog licensing it was only the responsible people who had licences and doubt it would be any different now, they would have to really tighten up the system and get every dog micro chipped etc, which I can't see happening.
They seem to have got desperate quite early on with the chihuahua pups don't they, suspect someone will buy them hoping to make a quick buck, though £300 isn't exactly cheap for at best unregistered pups or as you say more likely crossbreeds.
