Freedom Dressage

Have you tried calling??

I knew them a few years ago, they weren't "dodgy" or anything.
Petries will be ordered direct, they wont have the stock to hand.

Hope you get your new boots soon :)

I've used them and never had a problem. I think that illness has resulted in a back log and some confusion . I'd hang in there they've always seemed genuine to me.

I vaguely know them and haven't had any problems with them - they're not dodgy. If there's an issue I'd try to keep on at them. Let me know if you still can't get in touch and I'll see whether I can to to Bernie via a mutual friend.

Thank you, yes tried ringing and left several messages but goes straight to voicemail.
I know Petrie take ages so its more just want someone to say no problems it's all in hand.

I had an issue with them a few months back with a refund of something they didn't have in stock, I eventually got a refund after 5 weeks after many phone calls and emails, I sent a very straight to the point email and then got a refund, I wasn't very impressed with how it was handled, the lack of apology from them and the rudeness of the email that I eventually received from them, I definitely would never use them again.
Hopefully if you keep trying to contact them, you will get a reply eventually.

I ordered a rug from them 10 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. Have sente loads of messages and getting no reply. Really unhappy with the lack of contact and having to wait so long from my rug

that's really gutting.

have you emailed them and threatened to take them to trading standards? I had something similar recently with another company. It was only for a dog coat that I ordered but after 8 weeks of not receiving it, no one seemed to want to answer the phone or my emails.

I then wrote another email, this time very stroppy and requesting that they either sent the item within 24hrs or refunded me straight away otherwise I'd be going to trading standards...

Suddenly I got a phone call and email straight away with an apology and the item in the next post!

I'm sure you've done all this anyway, but in case not, it might be worth a go! Don't give up!

Through PayPal but this was back in February...

Did you pay it through Paypal as 'goods', ie did they send you an invoice? You should be covered by Paypal if you did, they will get you your money back. The only time you need to worry with PP is when its a personal payment, then you have no comeback.

I's contact PP immediately.

How frustrating for you, as per my previous post I would never buy from them again after the service they gave me.
There was also a thread on British dressage about them but it's been removed and people keep commenting on their facebook page asking where their orders are which then get removed.
Paypal may still be able to help you, I hope you get your money back:mad:

I'm still out of pocket as 45 days have passed since the transaction therefore PayPal not able to help me, I can order from Petrie but will have to pay for another pair which means e boots will end up costing me twice.

I contacted Kevin today and Bernie is and has been ill. I don't know any more than that but have directed him to this thread.

Hopefully it will be resolved for you, they were never out to intentionally rip any one off I assure you. I literally haven't spoken to them for over 4 years for various reasons but I know that much.

I have literally just got a refund, I had to pay £12 PayPal fees but that's a small price to pay! Hop either people get a positive outcome :)

I ordered a show shirt in march and im still waiting for it.. Have called and had no reply, just goes to voicemail. I have sent lots of emails and had no response. Im not impressed and after sending more emails yesterday i have now gone onto there website and it has been closed down.
