As the title really, looking at getting back into jumping so thought I might invest but are they really worth the money for something that normally only costs about £30, £170+ seems a bit extravagant!

Has anyone got them?

Do you have to wear them with the special boots or can they be worn with normal boots and still work?

Following this with interest, as I am considering getting a pair. Although it is between these and a new set of Veredus boots as my faithful Eskadron's are looking a bit worse for wear after 3yrs and may need to be demoted to home boots!

There is a brown second hand pair of freejumps on ebay which are already going for more than £100!

They are absolutely worth it! My horse has a big jump and I used to always lose my stirrups with normal ones, then I got jin stirrups which helped but not as effective. I finally got my freejump's and I love them! I've had them about a year now and haven't lost a stirrup yet! *touch wood* I don't have any special boots and they work absolutely fine, also, you don't need the leathers (no difference in whether or not you use them)

Absolutely worth the money. When riding you get a great feeling of security as your feet don't move, and if you have an unplanned exit your feet cant get stuck.

We don't have any special leathers / boots

Well worth the money in my opinion.

I tried them and hated them! Sent them back in the end, after swooning over them for ages I was gutted! I have sprengers at the moment and just couldn't get used to them, I'm going to get the flexible royal riders now instead
