Freestyle. When do you start? Is there a bell ?

Do you wait for the judges bell, get yourself in the right place then signal for your music to start? Or is there no bell ? How do you know when to start ?

Exactly as you have written. Bell, get in place, hand up to start music.

On your cd it should say when to start the music, depending on whether you have intro music or not. If your music says to start from your signal you'd wait for the judge to ring the bell, get into position and then give the signal and start your test. If your music starts from the first halt after the judge rings the bell you'd start your test and the music would play after you've halted and saluted. Most people prefer to have intro music, I haven't seen one that starts from the first halt for a long time.
