Hiya Jlav and Icestationzebra!!

Well, I was rather pleased to say the least!!! More excited that my family actually got to see him, albeit in a picture!! I originally come from up north, and to go to Solihull is going to be fantastic.... all my family can come and see.... my dad is 72, an ex-jockey and got me into horses, he has been waiting for about 25 - 30 years for me to be successful!!! It is a dream come true.... just goes to show, ordinary person, ordinary job... just believe in yourself (hard work!!)

I take no offence at being ordinary!!!Although with bright red hair I may not be that ordinary!! Te he!! I was on a high all day at work today... but I must land back down to earth soon... just not quite ready yet! I have had two horses in the past that have been a heartache, my first horse had to be retired.. luckily to redwings with an atlo-axis problem, spent over 2 years trying every remedial remedy possible and then bought my first warmblood about 3 -4 years ago, 4 year old, just backed by Blue Hors Don Schufro, lovely temp, lovely movement, had to put him down 2 years ago ... he stays at my bedside still, had him cremated... had scoliosis of the spine, bone spavin in both hocks, ringbone, worm damage to name a few...spent over £15,000 of the insurance money! Opps!! but after 2 years again my vet said he was never going to get better, we tried everything so unfortunately I had to put him down... never want to do that again..... Then came "Mister" AKA "Freestyler" third time lucky within a year he has made my dream come true.... there is a god out there somewhere!!! So here endeth the story!

Awwwww how sad for you but what a great outcome in the end. What's that saying? Good things come to those that wait(and those that put in hours and hours of bl**dy hard work on their horses!)! Very pleased for you and your horse

Many people with horses work their butts off ... I was just at the right place at the right time on the right horse!
