Freeze marks on dark horses

If you have a dark coloured horse that is freeze marked, can you please post a picture?

Thinking of getting my dark chestnut done, but can't imagine how it will look.

I know a fair few horses who are branded under their saddle area, so it isn't on view when being ridden or competed.

Is your horse micro chipped??

Yes microchipped, but I know this isn't much of a deterrent to thieves

Am i right in thinking a freeze brand should not be penalised in show ring. Looking to showing guros here

You are right they should not be penalised

The important words there are 'should not'

I don't think it matters much at low levels but not many top showing equines are freezemarked despite being clearly valuable. Make of that what you will.
