I had Flin freezemarked at the end of May (5weeks ago approx). The markes swelled up then settled to just the hair looking shorter/lighter. The only scabs that it has are two tiny marks.

Should it be scabbed all over to make it grow back white? Not sure if its taken or not, or whether it will need redoing as all the other horses on the yard that were done at the same time theirs have scabbed.

Anyone recently had theirs done or can remember how theirs progressed after being freezemarked so I can compare?

Izzy was done yesterday, see her pics in my previous post. Im awaiting for scabs to form at the moment. The irons were held on for 30 seconds each, how about yours? Fingers crossed the end result is ok, but the woman said she never has any problems, but if it needs re-doing she would come out foc.

The irons were held on for same length of time as yours and they swelled up the same as those in your pictures so maybe Flin is just a slow healer!

Its the fact that everyone elses on yard have scabbed all over and the scabs are falling off but Flin's hasn't.

I will take photos today and put them up here today if I remember!

I had mine done in February and I had the same worry as you.
Mine didn't seem to scab at all.
It's really weird because I looked at it one day and it was fully visible, it just seemed to happen over time.

I have had six Freezemarked and non of them really scabbed very much. All Freezemarks have come out perfectly though!
