Freezemarking when showing

Personally yes.

One myth in the showing circuit is surrounding Freezemarks - you cannot be marked down for a Freezemark and if you do feel worried contact a few of your local organisations to ask them for their views / clarifications on Freezemarks.

One question you need to ask yourself, if you decided against having a Freezemark could you live with yourself if your horse was stolen and never recovered?

'99.9% of all Freezemarked horses are reunited with their owners.'

Thank you, it will be on his white area that the freeze mark will be, does anyone have a pic of a white area with a brand so I can see how they turn out?

yes.. i think judges dont mind at all if they are freezemarked.. shows you care about them!! .. i showed up to HOYS level and never got marked down for anything other than bad confirmation!!

Sorry - I havn't seen any photos of your boy. I take it he is coloured? If he is marked on a white area then he will have a bald mark, if he has a dark patch elsewhere then it works better marked there. Freezemarks are best on the shoulder as they can be seen when riding but there is a lady local to me who had her boy done across his rump with his name... looks really good!

Yep he is coloured but lots of white, so no coloured patches that will be able to be marked.
