I am getting Ellie freezemarked because atm she has nothing no chip no mark as she is not mine but I spoke to the owner and she obviously sadi I could do whatever. My question is is that I want her freezemarked but I wanted it under the saddle but I have soo much coming up and she cant really have the time off until mid August so was going to get it on her shoulder. My question is that will it matter in the show ring??

They are not suppose to make a difference although people say they feel like they do sometimes. Someone trying to protect their horse from being stolen should not be marked down because of it

I know thats what annoys me. Showing is soo fickle.

If she is the grey in your siggy, you won't be able to have her marked under the saddle as greys are bald marked (iron left on longer to kill off the hair follicle). This can only be done on the shoulder (or as my friend had done on their side behind where saddle flap sits).
