I was burgled a month ago and I am now paranoid about everything.
The ponies are microchipped but as its not visable, I'm not sure its much of a deterent.
Whats your view of freeze-marking and which company/companies would you recommend?
One bay, one dark bay and a coloured that has brown patches on her shoulders.
Thanks for your help.

Feezemark. It really is he best deterrent and a good way of recovering should they be stolen. Farmkey have a 97% recovery rate and freezemark 100%.
Personally have found freezemark far superior to farmkey.
I had two stolen earlier this year, they were recovered very quickly, due to their freezemarks.
As you have been burgled recently, please make sure your tack is now extra secure - hopefully at home, as thieves often return in a month or two to steal the replacement tack.

Thanks for the info. Donklet,
I learnt my lesson and nothing is kept in the barn now (except hay).
Still worried about the ponies being targetted next and thought Freezemarking was probably the best deterent?

Definately the best deterrent...thieves will usually target the unfreezemarked horses in a field..my lad has both
