Freezers?

Does anyone know where I can get a chest freezer from in Surrey/Kent borders - ideally free or fairly cheap!?

Are there none on eBay? You can restrict the area that it searches around your post code

This may not be too helpful but there is a website where you can swap things/have peoples throw outs (in workign order!) - it was featured on Inside Out a few months ago for the Kent area...just cant think what its called but if anyone else knows?!

and a small fridge looking for a new owner ......only used 3 months hotpoint

Thanks - I want it to store my saddle in as just bought a new albion and the lovely people at the yard keep leaving my tack room open so I want to lock it away!!! Other ideas gratefully recieved!

Try Freecycle, http://www.freecycle.org/ join your local group, old freezers regularly come up on our local one, people only too glad for you to take it away.

I am not sure if they are still allowed to sell them, but I got mine for next to nothing from the local skip. A chest freezer is great for rugs etc.

picked up a really nice clean working fridge/freezer for my yard there!!!

swapped it for an old telly...well not really, just took the telly along to dump and said to the guy on the gate could we take the F/F??

I agree the tack safes look better but I don't want to pay that much!

I've thought about the chain things that go around the saddle but surely you can just snap the whole saddle rack off the wall if they really want to take it - the idea is to hide the saddle!!
