Freezing weather

Metcheck are forecasting temperatures to be below zero, night and day until at least the 11th Dec, as from Tuesday. That is Glos. Time to make sure that we have water containers in ready supply and also have a rethink over whether soaked hay is more harm than good, as it will freeze before they are fed it on the evening. Take a flask of hot water to soak the speedybeet, think about where you are emptying water buckets (not all over the yard as I see on a daily basis!!) and get some lock de-icer for frozen padlocks.

Gotta love the snow though!!

Yep, water carrier is now ready. Had to mix feeds tonight with a bottle of mineral water I had in the car, as the taps just didn't thaw out at all today.
