One of my horses is very spooky - we will get a jump sideways or spin at the slightest thing.

I sometimes think he does it just to throw himself off balance so he doesn't have to work as hard lol

I was thinking maybe some sheepskin cheek pieces may help for some of them as he will do a quick spook when he sees something out of the corner of his eye.

Anybody used them - do you think they may help? (I realise they won't cure my problem but if they reduce it slightly I'd be happy

My horse was scared of people a lot better now, but I could not go in the arena with even my instructor and put these on he went it still jumped and when he realised she was not gonig to kill him, he was vewry spooky of things down the sides of fences so it helped me get him to them as he seems to look less also if in SJ people are dowen the side of the arena he wont go near that side.

I went to my local fabric shop and brought some and made them before i bought proper sheepskin at least that way you know if they work withoput spending 20 pounds plus
