French blinkers

I have put this in C/R but no response yet so as more people are in here...

Does anyone have any experience of using french blinkers on your horses, please can you tell me what your ned was like before and how they helped?

I was going to try them on my fella cos people can "sneak" up behind you when you're riding, but I never got around to it yet!

tried them on my 5 yr old and was worse so took the off tried one as noseband and didn't lke it so sitting in drawer now. don't know whether she has wore them before i bought her and has bad memories of them.
