French Buffet stallion

Hi I am looking at a 4yo that I might possibly buy. His sire is French buffet but I don't know
anything about this stallions breeding or temperament ability etc.
Has anyone any experience with this line of breeding. He also has King Of Diamond lines. I am hoping to event him if I get him.

French Buffet is now deceased, but stood at Kylemore Stud in Ireland, and his youngstock are really starting to make their mark in eventing. He had some classic TB sport horse sires in his pedigree, including Buckpasser and Princequillo. We saw him on a stud visit several years ago, and he was still in good condition for his age (he must have been about 25 I think at that point). A youngster with French Buffet and King of Diamonds lines sounds a very promising prospect as an eventer. Does anyone have anything by French Buffet that they are eventing with?
How do they find them to work with?
