Fresh Herbs!

Hi all,

My big boy is on box rest; having tweaked his knee, so i've been picking fresh herbs from around the farm. I am hand grazing him but unfortunately to get to the hedgrows he has to go towards the field and this has proven just too much for him causing a set back!

He is loving cleavers (sticky weed) and hawthorn but thought I'd like to add some variety.

What else would be good?

Mine all adore the tips of blackberry shoots.

Milkthistle /Dandelions/cut nettles ,he will be picking what his body needs so maybe try a herbal supplement too.

hawthorn (just the leaves though as branches are prickly!!)? Blackberries are a big favourite. Oh and you might find mint and chamomile around the farm? we have tonnes of chamomile on ours....
