Frickers Formula - does anyone feed this?

A fellow livery used the frickers competition mix, it smells delicious like apricots, and liquorice, and it was moist and sticky  its very very sweet and although i looked on the bag i couldnt see any breakdown of ingredients.

It sent her horse into a rearing, excitable frenzy, although this was probably primarily due to the fact she was stuffing it full of competition mix and then only hacking it out once a week:rolleyes:

Like any feed it will depend on what work the horse is in, but in my experience it contains more sugar than i would be happy feeding.

I dont know where you are in the country, but i know derby house wrightington store stock frickers if you maybe wanted to try just a bag rather than buy in bulk before you know whether you like it or not.

hmmm ok. It is for my competition horse she is in 5/6 days a week work and competed once/twice a week.

i just feel its strange you dont feed anything with it x

All our feeds are designed to be fed on their own as a COMPLETE feed. I find it hard as to why this would be strange lol.
There should have been a ticket on the bag with a complete rundown of the ingredients.
We don't just do mixes, there are lots of other products as well :)

I used it when my horse was younger then the guy I was having it from stopped selling it, he seemed to do very well on it, if I could get it in mid cheshire I would try it again any dealers and what would you recomend for a good doer in light work ???
