Another matchy matchy thread! Frodo today, ridden by our fabulous Bereiter (I can't ride right now as I am lame - hurt my back).

Hope Chloe reads this as it's her colour isn't it? :D

Pretty even in his drop! It has made such a difference in the contact. After what happened with Rauti I really am beginning to think it's a miraculous noseband!!

WOW! He is beautiful (like ususal)! The canter pics - well lets say I was the colour of the bandages.
Just one minor detail for true colour coordinatedness I think you need to have a word with your Bereiter - brown and blue on a green horse.....tut tut :p

And I want some lovely 'bottle green' bandages for myself! I love that colour!!!

He is so lovely! I'm a drop fan too, they ARE miraculous nosebands, and they make horses look noble and posh! :D

Seriously he looks great and like he is progressing correctly. In the first picture, where his chest muscles are, it does look a bit like he has draw reins on at first glance, and I went *WHAT*!!! :p then looked again.

Lovely Frodo, I wish he could come over here. :) x

Haha oh my goodness it's true!! It's because he is SO FAT :( :(

Neither of my horses have ever been ridden in draw reins!

BEST FRODO POST EVER!!!!! :) :) :) ;)

Such a shame the jockey let him down with her navy and brown gear ;) but I will forgive her because to my knowledge green breeches are like hens teeth :(

He looks lovely, can't believe he's only 5 and is working like that, think I might need to pull my finger out with Dustry! ;) :)

Why don't they like matchy matchy at your yard? Do they not know all the 'cool kids' wear it? ;) :)

He looks amazing :D I love him :D

Also love the green, I had dark green (and gold) as my yard colours but I went off it as I could never find the lovely dark/bottle green, items were always a light green colour, so my colours are now Navy and Grey (and Silver).........selling all my green stuff off on eBay now, ha ha :)

Elegant as always. He is a lovely boy.

As always, I am stressing over the lack of hats!!!!!!!!!! One small question, do you guys hack out on the roads without hats on as well? I am squirming in my seat as I type this, as am evangelical on our yard about riding hats.

I can supply the green breeches, there is a pair in the back of the wardrobe I don't wear anymore:)

He looks fantastic, and agree having just changed two of our horses to drop nose bands, I think they are brill!

Stunning pics!!

On a side note, any idea where i can get a large drop noseband from? I have bought two now and neither are long enough for my horse.

Alwaysbroke it would make my day if you said they were full seat 28inch waist! If so I'll buy them off you :)

They are a 28 Horka a bit a faded, unfortunately not a full seat just knee pads, but if you would like them pm me your addy and I will put them in the post, I don't want anything for them:)

I used Plas Equestrian for my made to measure adjustable drop at a pretty good price - awful website but leather work is brilliant http://www.plasequestrian.co.uk/leatherprices.htm
about half way down the page for their drops.
I was really pleased.

Oi, I always wear a hat now :) I didn't in the past, but when we backed Frodo and I started riding him (he was 4) I started wearing a hat and then after Courtney's accident I just kept wearing it at all times (except when competing as I have to wear a top hat, but I am investigating whether German judges penalise you or not for wearing one!), it just makes no sense to me anymore not to wear one. I love my head :D

However most Germans seem not to wear anything at all, some don't even wear one when on roads / on youngsters / jumping. It's the same in Italy, plenty of my friends jump hatless. It's just a different culture.
