Whatever context that statement is put into it is implying the frog has little purpose and suggests a poor frog is of no consequence to the overall function of the foot and the soundness of the horse, I would not expect that comment from an equine vet but he can probably get the horse sound if you spend £££££s on tests and treatment with him

Would always take hoof advice from a vet with a rather large pinch of salt!
