Well, Bear The Border is now 8 months old. :eek::eek: Don't know where the time went, but I thought I'd post some pics to show the difference between then and now. I'm sure someone stole our little pup away in the night and left us with this stonking great lump of a BT instead! :D
Won't post the whole six months worth of piccys - that would take forever! ;)

:eek::eek: I hope the growing has stopped - he's turning out to be a really sturdy Bear of a Border!!;):D
 
gorgeous! I love Borders. Mine is now 6 and has suddenly gone very very hairy!
I had him as a surprise Christmas present. He was in a huge box wrapped up (he was only in there a minute not since Christmas Eve!) and I peeled back the paper and there he was. It was a total shock as I had absolutely no idea. But he was the best present ever and he is my bestest bestest friend. Scary he is 6 now though : ) Time goes too fast.

nn: He really is eight months, and like you, I can't think whre the time's gone! :eek: He's lived in six different houses since he was born and I daresay he's been a bit confused at times. But now all the house moves are over, and he's settled beautifully. I can't fault him, really. He travels without a problem (maybe coming from the Czech Republic helped! :eek:), sits quietly in the car without complaining, house trained in the blink of an eye, and is learning his manners very well.

I make him sound like the perfect young dog! :rolleyes: Yes, he does have his moments - OH is boss and I'm only good for cupboard love and the occasional walk, and recall is being worked on at puppy school. But overall, he's a real star, and we both love the wee monster to bits! :D
 
He is just gorgeous :) my little Stan (who is part BT) is a month older and I think (hope!) he has stopped growing now....I'm sure the only thing that would be more mischief than a terrierist would be an oversized terrierist!!

:D Thankies, too! :D Mischief dosen't come close! I really must get some pics of him and his best mate Spike (GSD pup who lives across the road) - the two of them are an eight-legged destruction derby! :eek: My new 'yard' is their favourite playground, and no plant or tree is safe! :D

:D Ha! :D The answer to that one is a resounding 'errrrrmmmmm'! :p:D

You know how it is - on the good days, he's nobody's but mine; on the other days, he's free to the next person who comes round the corner!!!!;);):D

Changing the subject slightly, how's your wee fella doing? Can't stop thinking about him and the awful time you've been having.

:D Yep! 8 months! :D Don't time fly? Sometimes it feels like it was only last week when I posted about losing Tugg ........:( Still brings a tear just thinking about it all.

But Bear helped us through the pain, and we are smiling and laughing again. :)

'Princess' B would have far far far too much fun with him I fear as she is having her first season. She is being completely pathetic around us but is showing every dog she meets her bot (Floozy!).

After xmas I can post some decent quality snaps of B (OH has bought me a camera is terrible at hiding presents!) so Bear can check out his lady friend!

Piccys awaited with bated breath! Nothing like a long distance relationship to keep things interesting! :D:D

Breed? Good god NO! OH would love to have millions of mini betsys running around but I know sod all about breeding and she is nothing special. She WILL be done once we get this season out of the way.

If I want more cute BT pups I will go back to her breeder... much easier!

I'm glad she has had quite a messy season, strange I know but this way OH is far more happy for her to be done!
