From bad to Mojo, Royal Leisure report

Hi all
Had a mixed week starting Tue at Royal Leisure where the first class 1.05 went well with a clear and 4 in the JO so very happy

followed by the NC where Saf decided she knows best and galloped round the ring like a woman on speed to have 4 down

I was despondant to say the least so asked 6ft pro male to ride her HC and she went lovely for one down.

Now here is where the confidence crisis set in and for the rest of the week believed I could not ride my own horse

Have spent time looking at last years photos thinking was that really me?

Went to RL again today for the same classes with dad (who is the best dad ever telling me that "of course you can ride your horse") and Elles (who is always surportive, thanks

)and decided to warm up in draw reins and make her work and listen, well bless her she did, in the 1.05 she went clear and a casual 1 down in the JO. In the 1.10 am class she jumped double clear and just out of the money.

But qual for some final in April?

So horses yet again bring you down to earth with a bump then raise you up

Well done for today!
I'm having a 'I cant ride my horse' panic currently, I'm hoping it will pass when I finally manage to get something right. We had couple of poles in 1.05 and 1.10 today, all unnecessary and my fault

p.s. I forgot to mention that I had to keep M occupied with polos whilst his girlfriend SAF was jumping. He wasn't a happy bunny that she'd left him for a bit! Whoops!!!

What a fab result, and what a difference a week can make

Horses are funny things aren't they ! It's so much about confidence......i'd give up looking at the old photo's....they never tell the real story anyway....just concentrate on each show as they come.

Been a weird week in all

Such a shame about Tweseldown can't believe it was worse that last year when they took fences out but when I look aroun local and still see all the water lying on top of the ground it seems to have nowhere to go????
Still not sure about Portman/eventing, if money was no object it would all be so easy

Having dressage lesson friday and if she goes well might try again

Thankies, I know its all ups and downs I just questioned the whole "can I" thing this week, I know Boss you will have it back on track PDQ your record speaks for itself

My dad was the turning factor kept telling me to believe in myself so I say that to you too
